My name is Dalton and I am the author of this newsletter. I think a good place to start would be to give you a little information about myself.
I love to have fun
I love the outdoors
I talk to people for a living
I prefer things simple and organized over busy and chaotic
I am an avid fan of wildlife and fish (especially catching them!)

This is a Greenback Cuthroat Trout that I caught in the Rocky Mountains!
How Did I Get Here? (Am I Enough?)
To be honest, I have felt a calling from God to help encourage people to slow down in this world and enjoy the gifts that we have been given. The funny part about that is I struggle to do it myself. One of the biggest reasons that I wanted to start this company was not to bring in the biggest paycheck but was actually personal accountability for myself.
I constantly catch myself striving for more. I want to add cool attachments to my car, I want more money in my bank account, I want more skills, I want to catch more fish, etc... If I were to be forthright, I would say in a lot of areas in my life I actually am not satisfied. That being said, I don't want things to stay that way.
Spending all my time growing up in the USA, I have been consumed by the idea of more, more, and even more. The American dream has such amazing aspects to it and at the same time also carries a shadow side that we just accept. I have seen the effects of this shadow side firsthand. Depression, anxiety, affairs, anger, assault, disappointment, and the list goes on. Each time you can see the pain and difficulties this world brings people and yet we fall back into the exact same pattern time and time again.
I wanted to start this newsletter to provide practical applications for anybody at any point in life to help slow down in a world that is never satisfied with who they are. I want to provide hope and excitement in the everyday mundane parts of life and help people be satisfied with what they have, not what they want. This is a learning journey for all of us. I am not a master; in fact, I am just getting started. But I hope that as we walk this path together, we can find contentment and peace in this beautiful world together!
